Homeowners
Congratulations! You have just closed on your new Cimarron home! However, the great service doesn’t end at closing. We provide all new homeowners with a one year warranty that begins on that day.
In addition to the warranty Cimarron provides, many of your appliances provided to you carry a separate warranty. Please make sure you keep any warranty booklets or product information for future reference.
Throughout the home buying process, Cimarron strives to keep our new homeowners fully informed of our excellent customer service and how the warranty process is handled. Cimarron provides to all new homeowners a “Homeowner Manual”. This is an easy reference for any and all warranty issues that may arise during the first year of homeownership. This is provided to the new homeowner at the beginning of the home buying experience so questions can be properly addressed. The homeowner will also go through a “Homeowner Orientation” process in which they are able to become familiar with their new home and have an opportunity to point out any issues prior to closing. During this process, a representative from Cimarron will familiarize the new homeowner with our warranty service procedures.
After closing, the homeowner is asked to keep a list for about 60 days and then submit it to our warranty department. Cimarron will address the list quickly and will ensure the satisfaction of our homeowners. Should any emergencies arise, Cimarron has provided a list of emergency numbers within our Homeowner Walk Through folders as well as posting these numbers on the panel box located in the home. We ask that a list be submitted again prior to the one year mark to ensure that all “first year” issues are taken care of prior to the warranty expiring.
Your warranty does not stop at one year. At closing, homeowners are enrolled in a 10-year structural warranty program through an affiliate, Bonded Builders. Should a homeowner have a structural request during the first 10 years of homeownership, they can contact Bonded Builders.
For the convenience of our homeowners, we have provided several ways to submit your requests. You may submit them online, via email, fax or snail mail! Your request will be processed promptly and a representative from Cimarron will be in touch with you to set up appointment times.
We are constantly looking for feedback and ways to improve for our homeowners and comments are always welcome. We conduct surveys as well as welcoming any kind of comments. We strive to provide the best service possible and review any comment that comes our way.
